🚸 New Crossing and School Term Reminder 🚸

With the new school term fast approaching, we'd like to remind residents and road users about the recent changes to the road layout at the junction of Longden Road, Stanley Lane and Mousecroft Lane.

During the summer holidays, a new pedestrian crossing has been installed to help improve safety for children, families and other pedestrians travelling to and from school.

As pupils return in the coming days, please take extra care in the area by:

✅ Allowing extra time for your journey
✅ Observing the new road layout and signage
✅ Slowing down when approaching the crossing
✅ Watching out for pedestrians crossing the road, particularly during school arrival and departure times
